Antonina Shevchenko, Antonina Shevchenko, a Kyrgyzstani Muaythai fighter from Peru, and mixed martial arts artist who is a part of the UFC at the flyweight division, is currently an Kyrgyzstani. She is also the elder sister of the former UFC Flyweight champ as well as co- UFC fighter Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko began her career as a Muay Thai kickboxer. She debuted in 2003 during the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was the winner of the competition and defeated Suzane Milliner with a unanimous verdict. She took the title by TKO at the end of round 2. She went on to win her two subsequent bouts and both of them at the WXF X-Impact World Championships of 2003. She was awarded an MMA record of 3-0. Shevchenko was a dedicated kickboxer after which she took a lengthy time off in MMA. She came back to fight in 2017 and faced Anissa Hasdaoui. Shevchenko beat Anissa via unanimous decision before prevailing over Valerie Domergue at Phoenix FC 4. She joined the Dana White Contender Series 2018 following the departure of the league. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina demonstrated her power of striking by tying Nievera using knees.
