Additionally, Ali also made her impression on the television screens. A Man Called Hawk and Wally and the Valentines were among her TV roles. One of the projects she worked on was Ali's breakthrough came in 1990 when she helped Ashley Banks come to life in the hit TV series , The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. The series, with Will Smith as the star and was a huge success. It was a huge hit, ranking 12th on NBC's list of the most watched programs from 1990-1992. The show was nominated for two Golden Globes.
